video forum avatar help!

i know your a clever bunch on here so im after some help..

i have scored the internet on this and im still stuck on how to do it! as i dont have PS..

basicly i have downloaded the FLV file straight from youtube and have a FLV player to play the video i want as my forum avartar, but now im totally stuck im unsure on how to convert it in to either .gif .jpeg .jpg .png .bmp

if someone could help it would be great.. or evan if someone could convert the file for me that would be equally as great lol

if you are trying to have an animated avatar then im sure you'd ne a .gif file
but you may need several conversions like .flv to .avi to .gif but im sure someone knows more about this than me
