Any1 no how much it would be roughly to get a turbo fitted to my SR?Got my SR looking how i want it so the exterior is complete, and i just want a rough idea how much im looking at!Cheers Ben
Manifold £350
Turbo 200+ for second hand
youll need full exhaust 300+
Or bodge mod on current stoc exhaust £50+?
Ecu (e-manage) £300+
Intercooler and pipework 300+
misc stuff (service vacume pipes injectors and all that stuff) £2-300+
fitting labour (depends on how lucky you get) 500 odd, lots more if you take it to somone who knows what they are doing.
all in dont expect any change from 2.5K+ or so. Ive really simplified this, turbos always end up eating money, and this would be for a basic conversion.

Was thinking roughly about 3k, cheers ed for that info, got some of the bits you have mentioned and i would have free labour cause my old boys m8 would do it. What do people think of superchips aswell??For an increase of 5 bhp its £300 fitted, is it worth it???????????????

budget will depend on how much boost/power you want to run also.
DONT TOUCH super chips, they are probably the least flexible of all mods. BTW i would be cautious of free labour as well. Doing a conversion like this is not normal mecanics which any garage fitter could do (or trained mechanic for that matter).
