Tinted rear lights (bulb holders)

Found some tinted rear lights I want to buy for my 99' micra k11. The add includes the following:

SUITABLE FOR ALL K11 MODELS 1993 TO 2002 (K TO 52 REG.)

(LATER '98 TO '02 MODELS MAY NEED BULB HOLDERS ADAPTED)

Will i need "bulb holders adapted" and if so how do i go about about this?

Also do tinted rear lights look good? I have seen a few and they have looked quite nice. my micra is silver.

wouldnt you just use your standard bulb holders? or possibly rewire them

You'll have to swap the wiring in the plug on the bulbholder, not a huge job..
