Hi

I am new to this forum but have looked through and see throttle body problems appear too frequently.

I have had the lambda sensor replaced, the other o2 sensor and just put a new throttle body in today. The car has been fully serviced. AND the engine management light came on, on the way back from the garage again!!

Anyone got any suggestions? Please??

Thanks
Sara

Need to know what the fault code the engine managment has logged before we can help :)

Will be getting it checked out - yet again tomorrow morning. Thanks

Have now got the codes that the engine management logged after the throttle body was fitted.

They are P131 and P137. I am led to believe that these are to do with the oxygen sensors but these were replaced before the throttle body was done.

I have had enough of this!! At least after the throttle body was replaced the car is now driving smoothly again - which is a blessing.

Any comments much appreciated
Sara

what year is the car?

has someone checked the cat hasnt got holes in it?
has someone checked you have the right spark plugs?
ngk bkr5e is for engines WITHOUT coilpacks
bosch fr8dcx is for engine WITH coilpacks

Not sure about the cat - but the spark plugs have definitely been replaced to try and sort this problem.
