Throttle bodie in working order

Yup my air flow meter is on its way out wich is annoying as it only done 56,000 M

I can't afford a new recon unit so i have to take a gamble with a secong hand 1


**I have already re-solderd the points back in november**

have you cleaned you idler valve and maf wire?

No dude, i dont have any metholated spirits at home......Is there a nice little guide i can follow on how to clean the 2 components?

I away up Luton tommorow for the weekend so cant do this until next week

the meths:laugh::laugh:you thrillin me!!!!!
its nice if you can wrangle the mesh cage of the top,the boddy to get full access
idle valve remove with a rachet set philips like
i done sprayed/cleaned my maf idle valve with that halfords break cleaner thing
with throttle body removed,yes i used meths on the other throttle body and have good results
bridged the solder connections with houshold appliance plug wire
