Looking at that guide , I would be tempted to run some wires from the plug socket connections to the daughter board connections on the main board , a bit more fiddly but it would bypass the solder joints that tend to crack .

thanks mate job done it was quite easy do you happen to know why car knocks on left hand side when turning car right it sounds like tapping the engine is micra k11
