TB for a CG10DE

GF's car may be having cold start issues and flooding the engine. It already has the nissan common fault device fitted but still spluttering on start up. I'm thinking it could be the TB as the dizzy, HT leads, Sparks and battery have all been changed.

If it is the TB can any CG10DE TB fit or have they changed models etc as it's some thing i've never touched before...

I THINK the facelift throttle body's are different to pre-facelift

my personal record time changn a tb on a k11 is 13minutes, they aint so difficult to replace!! just need an allen key and basic tools

The throttlebodies only changed when they got coil per plug ignition, so pretty much anyone will fit, bar those of course.

ok, and do you think changing the TB would cure this cold start flooding issue?

It could be a leaky injector itf it is definately not the ignition system, TB from a scrappy is pretty cheap and could solve it - could just be the cold weather and an ageing car though?
