strut brace nuts

hope i'm not being too dull here...

my front strut brace arrived today with a little do's and dont's list. point #3 explains that the brace comes without fixings and that a qualified person should decide which are the best fixings. it then goes on to say that M8 nuts and bolts are adequate.

i was assuming that the two pairs of nuts/bolts already on the car would be what i'd use for fitting. could someone just let me know if i'm right or wrong?

Your standard nuts will be more than fine

Use the standard nuts and bolts, you might want to torque them up as they are very easy to break!!
