» CMF MemberI have been in aluminum die casting since 1988 and the only way, you can make a standard block stronger, is by : 1) Re-machining and adding steel or other composite material into a sleeve inserted into the piston bore.(aluminum block gets weaker)
2 Thicker wall section on block between cooling chanels too cylinder bore. (Lack of cooling chanels?)
How do JDM make stronger blocks??
Interesting? What are the blocks made of LM2, ADC12 or EN4600? or just plain castiron?
Pikey?
