Young K11-er!
Last night I had to take out the beast from my boot in order to put my drum kit in to go gigging. Unwired and left in the house and hid the leads under the carpet near the spare tyre. Thought nothing of it.
Went to install it again today and it wouldn't work. Had me stumped, so checked all wiring, checked fuses and still confused.
Only through trial and error did I discover that it was an earthing problem. What's strange is that I haven't moved the earth cable from the car at all! The only way I got it to work was to daisy chain with a bit of speaker wire from the main GND terminal to another one on the amp that is just a screw into the amp.
This is really bizarre - anyone have any explanation for it?
