Steering Wheel Removal

I found it helps to go crazy and hit either side of the front of the wheel and then pull it off once the nut is undone to get it off the spline.. came of almost too easily last time I did it and almost hit myself in the face with the steering wheel :p

a good tip is not to completely unscrew the nut off the column so that when the wheel eventually slips after some brute force yankin the nut will prevent it from heading towards ur face at terminal velocity :p

Ahh yes! I do remember doing that the next time around actually. That is an extremely good tip :p First time's always the worst.

If it doesn't come off easily I just use a puller.
Sometimes brute force results in breakage of something (me or car).
Leaving the nut partly on is certainly wise.
