Stalled, and then now unable to start

Our micra stalled and now wont start up again, ive check the fuses and they seem all fine, the fuel pump seems to be working as well. However, the motor just wont crank...Called the NRMA and they couldnt figure it out...grrrr any suggestions?

nope..does not start..with a clutch

So it wont even crank?

You need to check your battery voltage and if there is a voltage going to the starter motor.

I dont see why this would stall the car, perhaps your key barrel has gone.

Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the ignition to ON?

yeah...its subtle noise..

And then when you turn the key do you hear any noise?

A click?

A grinding?

A constant clicking?

Does the engine try and turn over a little bit?

Anything change when you put the clutch in?

Also have you tried PUSH starting it? Will it start or when you let the clutch out (slowly in 2nd gear) does the car just grind to a halt without turning the engine over?
