Spark plug tube seals

I started cleaning up my spare cam cover and noticed the seals around the spark plug tubes (technical term!) are cracked (inner) or perished (outer). Are they
a) necessary
b) replaceable
c) repairable
d) all of the above.

those seals are bonded in iirc drand, best left if not leaking imo

the inner panel that covers the passageway is bonded and riveted to the cover making removal difficult without damage and the seals are tolerance fitted

if they leak, ur best off just picking up a spare cover from another
