smoking rear lights

is this easy iv been reading on a few forums and alot of people saing they keep coming out with white patches on them and jus wondering mine has a slight crack on the passengers side rear cluster witch i used some like siliconse stuff onit to stop the water getting in will it still be ok to spray over the top of dat cheers deano

yeah thats wat i thought u did so would it be ok to smoke them cos of the silicone i used for the slight crack and how do u do them exactly like i said i heard a few stories where they come out with white marks on them

you spray the outside. if it's a good product then it should be shiny anyway, no need to laquer it, that's how they are designed

Surely if it was outside rain and weathering would affect it?

i sprayed the outside after cleaning them down, lacquered it afterwards and they came out fine

can you pick the spray up at halfords and just spray straight on looks really good
