What's the benifits of skimming a head? Like power increase response etc

I've lost a little coolent but not loads I got a slight bit of mayo looking stuff on oil cap and a bit in dip stick now and then the other day I had white smoke when I reved hard in Nutral also if I take engine coolent lid off and rev hard it bubbles like there's air in it :/ I wanna try squeeze a bit more umff out off it for cheap as chippys haha

Sounds like you head gasket has gone, forget more umph worry about not killing the car

Nah it's not you I just remember cars his "friend" has been having all sorts of problems since he got this seat
