Side gapping spark plugs

I was searching tinternet and heard about side-gapped spark plugs and their supposed performance increase. Has anyone tried this? Was it any good? Am I gunna have to go and try this myself and hope my engine doesn't break? lol

Yeah but if I was planning bigger mods to the engine would it be worth doing it?

nope, mods like those are for extremely highly tuned engines, where they need the strongest and most efficient ignition systems possible to keep them running.
