Reving engine

after completing rebuild of my mocra and taking it for test drive i noticed that when stationary and ticking over she revs up slightly then dies of again up and down up and down when driving it its not apparent anyone any ideas as to whats a miss, I still dont have nuetral switch conected so dont know if thats what the fault could be?:down:

sounds like a vacum leak.....somewhere..

mine was a little all over during idle (after fitting and refitting parts) and tweaking the throttle position switch, along with adjusting the butterflys default opening position seemed to help sort it out.

adjusted throttle cable and it seems to be ok so going to run to post office to post some stuff for nex and I will see what its like then

i found with mine as soon as the buterfly was opened a touch it ran fine...which was why i adjusted the other parts as my cable was spot on.

a cable adjustment is alot easier than the other options though

the cable seems to be the culprit (this time) as ive just rebuilt car it may have been adjusted to far the wrong way.
