Hey want to replace the air intake hose and box from my micra.

Can someone advise the diameter of the hose?
Also what is the best material to make the hose out of of?
What do I to replace the air sensor in the air box?

depending on material you want to use it could be about the same price to buy an intake off ebay.

just browsing around MSC Honda Civic 1.6L 99-00 model intakes off ebay almost fit perfectly for around $60

theres also micra 1's for about the same price.

diameter of the hose can be what ever you like TBH as long as you have a joiner that will fit the throttle body id say 2"-2.5" would be perfect, im not sure on the size of the TB to help with that side but them you would buy a reducer join to fit.

PVC pipe is a cheaper option, but if you want the bling factor just some generic intercooler pipe from autobarn would work well, tbh if you go the intercooler pipe option its cheaper to just buy an already made intake off ebay once you factor in joiner ($30) intercooler pipe ($20-$30) Pod filter ($20+)

for the sensor you would need to drill a hole to fit it.

generic "Micra" intake which i think is just a generic intake with a micra tag on it.
