Replacing hub help!

Right.
I've taken the old hub off but I cannot get the lower mounting nut to tighten - it just spins. I read through the Haynes before I started and it just says "locate the hub carrier on the lower arm ball joint". Does that not mean put it on loosely? I can't believe out needs to be pressed in.

If anyone can help asap i'd be very grateful, need the car tomorrow.

you may need to raise the jack under it drand

Yep use a jack to push under the ball joint, just enough to take up all the slack

This is what I did to my other facelift micra. I was struggling to remove these lower ball joint nuts so I used nissan jack. It was really work. ( I replaced two new wishbones.)
