removal of rear wheel bearing hub?

Hi All, With my MOT coming up in Feb I need to replace both of the rear bearing / hub as mentioned in last years addives on the MOT document . The only problem is the removal of the hub if its stuck fast to the rear axle as I don't have much strength in my arms with the breaker bar and I bought a powered impact wrench to use for this job (removal of hub nut) but have been advised it could damage the CV assembly but there isn't one in the rear is their? And if not could I use p/impact wrench would loosen the hub nut and hub as I believe it been there for nearly 20 years. Yours Peter0003

Obviously no constant velocity joint at the rear, not that a garage would worry about an impact gun on one though. On the bright side the stub axle and nut will be nice and clean tucked inside the cover anyway. No mention of the N/S being L/H thread as they can be on some cars.

Oh and use your impact gun, have used them countless times on front and rear hubs with no issue. Just use a proper socket.
