replacing dashboard hazard warning switch bulb

hey everyone,

does anyone know how to replace the bulb for the hazard warning switch (the one next to the rear screen demister switch)because mine has blown?

hi MicraNut,

There's a tiny 12 volt bulb (T1 or 3mm) incorporated in the switch housing.

Remove the front console screws and unclip. unplug the hazard switch connector by squeezing the lock connector while pulling connector out.

look at the top of the switch and you will see a round plug with a philips head cross on it, turn it 90deg anti-clockwise and remove. Keep the plastic bulb holder (philips head plug).

Now these bulbs are hard to source. I have ordered them from a supplier here in Aus but you may be able to buy them from FARNELL - their catalogue number 1139294 (pk of 5).(RadioSpares cat# 587-670)

this is the same bulb used in the air-con switch.
