how is it to remove the dash off a 1998 1.0 micra

Real easy takes about 45 mins first time about 20 mins then on. Steering wheel off (if it has an airbag make sure the Battery is disconnected for 2 mins before) bolt each side under door seal, two on top by windscreen, 1 in either foot well corners, remove central unit and a couple there. Open glove box and there's an pain of one on the right roughly between the stereo and vent area.

When u say dash u mean hole thing or clocks area

Whole dash and it was easy as pie to do

You can avoid removing the airbag if you just drop the steering column

I had to remove it fully and have to do it again soon my central locking box stopped working

Central locking is managed by a small box under the dash behind the steering wheel, accessible by going on your knees and looking up haha.

You say the central locking stopped working, how so?

iv got after market central locking and the wiring melted :/ bloodly cheap chinise parts
