Got in the car this morning in the dark and dipped the clutch to select reverse and *NOTHING*, pedal straight to the floor. Frantically managed to find my LED maglite and found the bloody pedal is attached to the master cylinder by a plastic rod with a crappy clip on the end. It had just popped right off the pedal grr!

This is the clip hanging off:

I popped it back on and made it to work and back. I managed to bodge it with a heavy duty zip tie around a bracket to stop the plastic rod moving off to the right which should hold it but you can see where the plastic rod has worn right across the bearing thingy.

But honestly - what a stupid/cheap/built in obsolescence/limited life piece of design grr. According to the ESM it's a new clutch master cylinder job which I doubt is cheap.

I'm seriously tempted to scrap the bloody thing and buy a nice simple K11 and really do it up nicely (Y).

I love mine but they seemed to be designed to last about 100,000 miles and mine's nearly on 108,000 :glare:.
