What has everyone/anyone being doing when it gets near the time your car needs a new radiator.
Do you:
1/ Re-core the one you have.
2/ Get a new one made.
3/ Get a new genuine Nissan one.

It's been my experience with other types of cars that it is generally better to have a custom radiator made..They use better quality material and usually the radiator is more efficient then stock.

So what has been others solutions to an ageing radiator?

"Wouldn't bother going to nissan, you'd pay as much as you would going to errol ($850 last quoted about a month ago) or PWR (from memory people were paying about 1K for these).

---dens

if anyone wants a pwr one lemme know and i'll see what i can do. should be cheaper then a grand anyway

Nissan have some good prices from time to time, could be worth checking out.
A mate of mine picked up from nissan a brand new genuine radiator for his r31 for about $150. I thought bargain!
