quick steering rack

Just a quick question id just like to know if its possible to get a quick rack for a k10 if nt would it be possible to retro fit one from a mk2 escort. I have trired the search and couldnt find anything

There was a blue k10 on retro rides with a k11 engine and the guy said something about playing with the steering rack to make it quicker in his blog. Not sure if he is on here. Sory cant be much more help

it might of been machisan there was another guy but i cant remember his username but yeah i remember reading it im not sure if it was the track rod ends that he turned upside down or shortened the rods i cant remember now.

On my k10 I fitted k11 hubs. Iirc the steering ARM on the hub is about 10mm shorter, giving slightly quicker steering!

What I have planned to do but not got round to yet. was too cut the ARM and shorten it even more. Like another 10mm or so.

I was gonna flip the trackrod end so the nut was on top instead of below. I was gonna do that to dial out some bumpsteer!

Iam defo doing some new hubs in the next couple months and ill be making a jig
