Q plate advice

Now before anyone says anything the work HAS been done, or at least started (engine mounts cut out and fabricated new ones) so this isn't another engine swap thread that goes nowhere.

I have a vehicle, I've chopped out the old engine and installed a new, bigger one.

The chassis is also modified so really the only original part is the VIN number.

So if I tell the DVLA that the engine has changed, because the engine and g/box are from a different, older vehicle will it end up as a Q-plate?

Also will I need an SVA test and how do I go about getting an engineering report?

when reading this it would appear that all the 2lrt conversions thats had the chassis cut back to clear pump should not be on the roads unless its had a sva test. or similer
