PS light on !!!!

is the car still under warrenty mate?
as if not it`s a pretty expensive job i think it`s the brushes in the electric motor the dealer said when mine went :(
 
no fluid in this system..everything is electric :(
@ dragonmaster..ive also heard that its expensive..ive just done a diagnostic..but the apparatus did not get access to the steering system
 
ah right, didnt know they were electric...you learn something everyday haha :D

I don't see why warrenty should be an issue, you've got the option of complaining for any item that fails to function as it was designed, before its lasted an exceptable amount of time (this is the grey area as its open to interpretation). However you can do that with electronics to get fixes etc so i dont see why it wont cover cars...call me silly if you want, but id consider the steering function of a car to last as long as the car does. :)
 
someone told me that this problem happened just because i have put new rims,and the tyres are too large..
thats why the electric motor has been damage fwn
anyone can advise me if its true or not..because im going install new electric motor,and dont want to get any problem with that again...
tyre size : 195/50 R15
