Probelm- please help with answers??

hey guys
so my interior light dosent switch on any more when the doors open, but it can be swtiched manually.
first i thought it was the pins on the door but it wasnt
so now im told that it may be a ground.

any one know where the door pins ground to in the body?
any other ideas on what the problem may be? it wouldnt bother me but it now causes my alarm to not arm because its sensing that the doors are not closed

power goes direct to light then a red and white wire runs to each door switch which earths it through the screw to the body. the other 2 wires on drivers side are for buzzer. hav u done any painting there or something. try earthing the red/white wire somewhere else on body maybe to test

ahh ok i think when i painted the door sills it may have ****ed it up!

yea just clean the screw holes mate should fix it
