I'm after a first car for Mrs calnen, and we've been offered a friend's old car. It's a 1998 Micra 'Twister', 74,000 on the clock.
It has MOT till July and Tax till October.
She said she wanted £900 for it but would do £750 'mates rates. I said we'd rather have a car with a new MOT pass, so have offered £800 including a new MOT. Does that seem about right to you guys? We don't actually need the car for a couple of months, so I'm hoping we're getting it a little under-priced to make up for the fact it'll be on the drive for a while.
Should we get it?
