G'day guys and gals,

Newbie here with a K11 Super S.

Couple of quick questions for you folks.
How do i go about getting power steering for my Micra?
Can someone recommend someone/someplace here in Melbourne Australia to get it done?

Love the little beast, however getting a bit sick of the lack of power steering.

Cheers ;-)

A. goto a wrecker, gut a micra of it's power steering gear (cost me $60, and a lot of swearing(car had no wheels/hubs, was on ground))
B. buy a kit off a wrecker, much more expensive, better if u dont have time/skills etc.
C. I think some ppl on here got them supply/install off a company that specialises in power steering etc, unsure details.

Melbourne, dens? :)

D. buy a micra that has PAS, swap ur mods over, sell old micra

there's a PAS pressure switch that's connected to the loom which tells the ecu to rev up when the pump is loaded. dunno if the connector plug is included (taped up) on non-PAS looms but if not, then you'll need to swap over the looms.

Thanks for the info so far guys.

Ideally, i would like to get it done by someone as i am time poor and skills poor ;-P

I might have to go to a power steering specialist by the sounds of it.

Cheers.
