polo 6n coilovers (not asking if they fit)

Basicly ive bought a full set and found skymeras guide on how to fit them on the rear.
No guides on the fronts.
I've been told you need the top mounts because micra ones will make my car stupidly low?
Also the top hole on the coilover its self needs to be drilled out?
Can anyone confirm this?

no such thing as stupidly low
but you haven't searched that hard, i did mine using a post on this forum, took a while to find it
but now there's just tonnes of "what coilyovers fit"
also you could cut all the mounts off and weld new ones on, doesn't take long and is alot neater
