Pin stripe

On some k11's there is a pinstripe the entire length of the car, from quarter panel near the light to rear light, am I right in thinking this is a sticker? anyone know how to get it off and replace it?

I need to replace the quarter panel and repaint some areas

If its a sticker you can use a heat gun gentle heat,
Can try a solution of Isopropyl mixed with water somewhat and dab it to see if it releases the glue.
Usually these methods work for badges also.
