Opening the hood?

We just bought a nissan micra 1.2L from 1991, but have no idea how to open the hood to get to the engine. Anyone happens to have an idea where the lever is situated or an alternative way to open it?

there is the lever under neath the dash on the drivers side. if its broken its a pain to change but can be done with right tools and time, i just had to replace it

black pull knob just below the fusebox panel, bottom right of the dash

Ok thanks, found it now! Couldn't find it cause the knob was broken of. At least know i have to replace it now. Really was a pain cause couldn't see it without the knob.
