Oil Cooler

Is it possible to fit an oil cooler to a 1.0l micra. Ive been driving hard lately and want to bring it to a few trackdays and notice the difference as i add mods to it. When i drive it hard there is a heavy smell of oil. A mechanic reckons its heating the oil too much from hard driving. Any ideas people.

yes, you need a sandwhich plate off a toyota, then you can run that to a cooler, and back into the block.
