Started doing wishbone replacement today and the front bushes collar is seized to the bolt. Joy. Blow torch first and if not then grinder time. Anyone have any better less destructive solutions???

Yeah I might have to for its mot on Monday. Going to Nissan tomorrow to get some replacement bolts. Just in case I (almost definitely will) ruin the existing ones

Rang Nissan they can't get the bolt in time. So I moved on to the ball joint. Oh hey guess what. The blighter is also seized in place despite numerous attacks with a blow torch and a mallet. Is it too early to start drinking

mine were just an interference fit, and they bashed out with 2 sockets np

One side is done! Cut the bolt out. Replaced it with bolts from an iron monger who assured me they'll be strong enough. *Gulp* other side is being a pain. Having a tea break.

I've got same problem with panhard rod bolts

there must be huge mess inside, because panhard mount get crooked after hammering

Access is tricky,but I have to cut them...

Just realised I haven't put the brace on that I have. Going to have to get some even longer bolts now.
