nissan micra 95 [headlight buzzing noise]

Hi everyone
I have just got myself a tidy micra 1l [95]. It was fine the first few weeks then all of a sudden when i turned the lights on, the first stage was a buzzing noise then i turn fully on and the full beam light is lit on dash only 1 headlight is on full beam and the other is normal and buzzing has gone once fully turned to main beam. Please, any advise on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated. cheers

Just fixed this problem myself (use the searchy feature!) turned out to be a fuse in the engine bay (in front, and to the right of the engine) check both of the fuses for the head lights, the positions are marked on the fuse box casing.Mine was a bit loose and rusty, replaced it, and gave the dodgy connection side a clean with a nail file and put a slight twist on the new fuse blade and a dot of copper grease to get a good contact.

When I had this problem it was a bad connection with the plug that goes into the headlight, and the plug itself had melted.

very common problem!!!!!
