Nissan Micra 2003 K12 central locking stopped responding to key fobs

Hello,

The central locking on my 2003 micra has stopped working completely.

I have 2 key fobs which are both working fine. The batteries are new and the red LED flashes when pressed.

The central locking is completely dead. The central locking button under the handbrake is also dead.
The boot lock doesnt work.

I have checked the fuses which are all ok.

Is there a relay or some other component which would cause this?

Just had this on wife's micra 2003. The car battery was very depleted due to lights being left on. I charged it fully last night and the fobs and cental locking now work ok. I suspect that the system tries to preserve enough juice in the battery to crank the engine.
