new steel wheels

i am looking at buying some new steel wheels (similar to what i have seen on v'dub polos, golfs etc.. with stretched tyres.

has anyone any advice on this subject and has it been done before? i just though i should ask before i hand over any money

one last question, what is the centerbore and offet for the front and rear. Cheers

by new stees do you mean wider than standard or just new standard sized ones?

sorry i meant wider ones than the standard K10's, i just dont know how wide i can go, what the offset is or the centre bore, but i will be keeping the 13" diameter. Not a good start im afraid :S

See what your getting at, but can only picture wide alloys. Found any pics, ebay auctions etc. of what your after?

I have had similar ideas, like minilite replicas with 6J or even 7J width, proper wide look then (Y)
