Hi, I am in Perth.

Think that my brake pad are gone as i can hear screeching sound when i pressed my brake. Just wondering how much would it cost to change it and could anybody in Perth help me change it. I will pay for it.

Thanks in advance.

About $45 for fronts, thats RDA pads, you can do it your self I'd class it as a 2star (out of 5star difficulty, if you don't know what your doing)

Looks like i have to give it a go and try to change the brake pads myself.

Can i have a simple info on the process of changing it??

Cheers

If its just front pads, you only need to remove the 1 x 12mm lower guidepin bolt, then you can swing the caliper upwards, and if you change 1 pad at a time the spring clips are held in place while you change the pads :)

take one caliper off at a time, do not disconnect brake line or you will have to bleed, remove old pads

take brake fluid cap off resevior and have someone to watch that it doesnt overflow

use a g clamp to push piston back home, replace pads

repeat on other side, you may need to remove some fluid from resevoir

after finished pump brakes a few times and check resevoir level

if you are not confident or not mechanically minded I suggest you have a mechanic do it for you, brakes are too important
