Mysteries of the throttle body

I did the mod to the throttle body that was intended to fix the hiccups in a Micra and it has improved things - but not completely fixed the problem. (The "mod" I'm on about is removing the circuit board cover and and resoldering the pcb joints to fix possible dry joints). I'm just thinking about removing the TB completly, and giving it good clean with WD40 etc. A few q's... how does the acceleratore cable come off the TB? I have this picture of millions of springs and stuff flying up in the air :)

Is it ok to remove the sensors bolted to TB (pot for accel position, idle valve and so on). What I mean is, are they difficult to refit or do they have to be adjusted after refitting?

Finally, I thought to remove the injectors and see what they are like: is this easy to do once the TB is out of the way.

Mucho TIA

Goldstar: can be anything from poor idle, cutting out, running awful cold, unusally noticeable flat spots (high or low rpm), or in my case sometimes not starting very easily.
