MOT advice!

Ok getting the MOT done this friday!

Emissions won't be a problem as the guy couldnt give a damn about the enviroment, which is good for me!

But the indicators stop flashing after about 4 flashes and stay on perminently! So i need a flasher unit, but i cant get hold of one till saturday, also need a pre-facelift one as the car electrics are still pre-facelift....

Think everything else is ok...

yeh read that thanks, quite good and help full, just wondered how long they keep the indicators on for....?

2-3 flashes, just enough to check the flash speed.

I reckon it's more, as they will probably need to look round the car to check they work.

Yeah, by the time they've put the hazards on, got out to walk around the car to check the lights, your's will have stopped flashing surely.

If it's in a garage they just look at the light on the walls

Depends on the tester, the guy I used to go to left the hazards on for the whole test as h did all the external inspectios.
