Micra K11 Rear Demister Switch

Hello,

On my '93 K11 the little yellow light that comes on when you press the demister button, doen't work. The demister work's, just the light doesn't come on, and I always leave it on.

How do I change the switch, do I have to get the whole dashboard off?

Does anybody have experience of installing new switches into the dashboard?

I might be wrong but I think ~I took the fascia bit of and put it off, just need to unplug it

i've taken off my fascia panel loads of times to mess around with my radio lol

it's just a matter of taking off a few screws (in my car there are 2 behind the ash tray, just hold down the clip on the top of it and pull it out, and two underneath the demister switch and the hazard lights where the fasci comes out from the dash) all you gotta do then is pull off the fascia which is held in by clips and bobs your uncle, just unplug the switch and pull it out by holding the clips

i'm not 100% sure if you have the same setup, maybe you could post a pic of the fascia?? hope this helps bud
