I'm having some issues with my wife's 2007 micra CC,which has suddenly developed and strange fault when starting. Sometimes the red flashing key light won't go off when inserting the key, and therefore not starting. Using second key it switched off the immobiliser cranked but didn't start. Now theres I have a whining noise from the throttle body even after removing the key and funny relay type clicking, side lights came on of their own accord.
Tried the second key again and the immobiliser wouldn't go off this time. I'm capable of using a multimeter but have no idea where to start looking. Can any one after any advice or has anyone had similar issue.
