guys, I was doing some rustproofing today in engine compartment ( cross member) and there is a big plate in front of alternator, which when I moved it sprung loose cos lower part was rusted though; I removed the top bolts and flung it out; any idea what its for, looks like a shield for exhaust manifold rather than alternator? thanks dave
ps secured my high level brake light, one of the bolt fixings was broken off so built it back together with epoxy resin
