Damn, my tyre shop wouldn't do anything less than 165 on 7j let alone 8.5!! what tyre make you running then?

Accelera, preferred them to nankangs as they didn't have a rim protector.

Don't mean to sound stupid, but what you call a rim protector is that similar to what I've been calling a lip that's left from stretching? or is the lip formed from stretching like http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?/topic/35235-stretched-tyre-size-library/page-3 (best example I could find)

Yep its the lip, which protects your alloys rims. But kinda only works with no stretch .

I just like the style left after stretching if you know what I mean. Got stretched tyres at the moment but after a style
