Maintenance Reminder

I need to reset maintenance reminder (spanner emblem) on my K12.
Can anyone help me?

I reset mine literally a week ago (oil change distance)
can be pain if you don't hit the button right away ^_^
(mine's a 2005 with cd changer)
using the little buttons in the instrument cluster (by the Tacho, odometer etc...)

• Press the little button on the right and hold it for 3 seconds while the spanner/wrench symbol and distance are displayed.
• the spanner/wrench and distance should then start flashing.
• release the button, then press the button (on the right) again for the interval to increase 500 miles each press.

If this isn't how your system works IE: it's a newer shinier, blu-toothed, bells and whistles version...then...I'm not so sure
