Ok. Someone with 15'' alloys and 195/45 tyres and lowered on 35mm springs and someone with 14'' alloys and 185/50 tyres and lowered on 40mm springs.
Mistake me if im wrong but 14'' alloys are better for performance and although the gap in the arches look higher than the 15''s the one with 14'' s is actually lower,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, just another one of those msn debates that has to be sttled............ Opinions please

Right, given that on standard 155/70x13 rims and tyres the ride height is about 75mm and ground clearance is about 140mm, now with 185/50x14s combined with 40mm drop springs the ride height would be 37mm lower at 38mm, and ground clearance would be reduced by 43mm to 97mm, but with 195/45x15s with 35mm springs the ride height would be reduced by 39.5mm to 35.5mm and ground clearance reduced by 30.5mm to 109.5mm. so although the arches would appear fuller with the 15" rims on, the car would be lower to the ground with 14" rims on therefore enabling the car to corner quicker, the characteristics of the 14" rims due to the 6mm decrease in diameter over standard are an increase in acceleration but decrease in top speed, whereas the 15" rims with 9mm increase in diameter would decrease acceleration but increase top speed.
