Whats the best suited alloys and tyres for a 1.3 allowing im going for coilovers to and want the car low and no rubbing. I think 14''s with 185/50 tyres but how would 15''s with 195/45 tyres work. I also dont want to loos any acceleration from the car . It running on 165/60/r14 standard steel rims at the moment

195/45x15 will lose you some acceleration, 185/50x14 will give you better acceleration as they are a smaller circumference than standard by about 2 1/2%, 195/45x14 would give you even better acceleration as they are 4% less in diameter.

its said 15'' alloys give you better stability at high speeds..depnds what your going for imo 15''s are better for looks and 14''s are better for accel, alrough with 14's you will get tyre roll, were as 15s you woulnt really notice. if your going for coilovers imo 15's would better for attcking the corners you wouldnt loose alot of speed with 15's on. ive got a 2 sets of 14'' alloys and 1 set of 15'' alloys the 15s are better overall. the 14s arnt wide engough and under hard breaking its everywhere where as 15's keep it stabler

as said 15 are better overall and in my eyes are better. but depends what you want..the 15's would fill the arches up more espcially with coilovers.

True Phil, im gona go with team dynamics pro race 1.2 in a 7.0 rim with 185/50/r14's. Worked wonders on my old micra and should go the same on the new one

The sidewall height on a 185/50 tyre is around 92mm, on a 195/45 tyre it is around 88mm, regardless of rim diameter, I really dont think that the 4mm difference will be very noticeable tbh, personally I would go for the 185/50although looking on Mytyres they cost more than the 195s, if you're stretching them onto a 7" rim they will appear lower profile anyway.
