Hi all,
I just had both of my drivebelts replaced by a mobile mechanic I have dealt with him before. The only problem is that this morning when I turned the engine on I notice a slight different tone so I looked under the bonnet and notice that the engine sounded louder than it did when I bought it. I'm not sure what the sound is, it could the pulley after all as it was not replaced when the belts were fitted. Would it be the new 'V' belt & drive belts being tighter & not settled in yet or something else.?
Micra's don't have tappets my mistake from the orignal post, as this is the edited copy
