Good morning we have just brought a k12 2003 Micra . We’re having a few issues with the central locking looking on here I think I do have the dreaded boot switch problem. But my question is the button down by the handbrake when the car is locked is the light meant to stay on or go off .

Good morning we have just brought a k12 2003 Micra . We’re having a few issues with the central locking looking on here I think I do have the dreaded boot switch problem. But my question is the button down by the handbrake when the car is locked is the light meant to stay on or go off .

Hi there, the led it should be on when you lock the car, it stays on for about 2 minutes, then turn off automatically by the system. I am talking about a car with the smart key (key less).

My it's from 2004, and if someone knows how to put it in automatically closes the doors when the car goes above 20km/h, please let me know.
